  1. you should go see your doctor. i know that you might not want to talk about what you are doing to them but they understand because it is a disease that they see all the time. they can help you and give you some great meds that will cheer you up! you should tell them everything because the more they know the more they can help you! good luck sweetie! & i hope that you will be happy soon

  2. I highly recommend you talk to someone.  Have you had any recent traumatic events happen in your life?  I would not say something is wrong with your mind.  People always go through things in their lives that lead them to believe something is wrong with their mind.  Stress causes problems inside your mind and so do traumatic events.  It is best to get evaluated from a professional.

I am very worried that you have tried cutting yourself.  You have your entire life ahead of you and there are ways to solve what is going on.  Even if you need someone to talk to on a daily basis to sort things through, please go and see someone!  I am not a doctor, but I am a registered nursel.

I will be thinking about you from today and further on.  I really cannot express to you, how important it is for you to talk with someone right away.

  3. Thoughts that there is something wrong with your mind, thoughts of suicide, sleeping to escape, easily angered, isolation in your room, lose of interest in the things you used to like, feeling sad alot, are all signs of depression. So, yes, if you have not yet been evaluated I would go. I did and it was the best thing I ever did. I had all of the above and more. I had tried 3-4 different depression medications and the depression would always eventually come back. Finally my Primary Doctor said "We can keep playing the guessing games with your meds or you can go see a psychiatrist ...I was not offended at all by this...I wanted to normal. So I went and am so glad I did. Hang on. Make that appointment and GO ! You are not alone.

Until you go try prayer, journaling, meditation, beating a pillow, and sit outside for a bit or go for a small walk. Drink some juice or eat some fruit.  If you have a pet ...play and pet your animal. If you do not have one but can have one then get one. They are wonderful companions, lower your blood pressure and all sorts of good things. Call a friend, sing along with a song, change the sheets on your bed. Take a shower and drink some warm tea.

Let me know how you are doing. You are not alone. Hope this helps. God bless you in your journey.

  4. As I agree with seeing a doctor, the regimen seems to always be a prescription.  Like in your case, they may give you Zoloft.  Have you thought about donating your free time to the help of others.  Like spending time at the old folks home or reading books at a children's hospital.  Sometimes what people need is feel like they are making a positive effect on another persons life.  Do you have a job?  Something you enjoy doing and get paid to do?  Do you go to college?  Challenge your mind, give yourself something to do besides sitting in your room thinking about your anguish, ya know go to the gym.  Keep busy!  Best of Luck to you!!

  5. You definitely sound depressed, at the least. You definitely need to go see someone NOW!

  6. so whats wrong. amil back if you need totalk if you like. cant really understand whats going on

  7. You are definitely suffering from anxiety and depression--the question remains, "What you should do about it?"

If you go to a doctor, (s)he will prescribe an SSRNI antidepressant, which is extremely addictive and may require another med to keep you from jumping out of your bed at night, likely clonazepam.

Both drugs are highly addictive, cause long-term damage to the human body and are extremely difficult to get off of.  There is also the danger of the antidepressant inducing alcoholism and/or causing obesity, as is often the case.

Anxiety/depression can be a never-ending cycle if you allow it to be.  My suggestion is that you try non-prescription herbal remedies first and then decide, when you're mellow (not stressed out and feeling suicidal) what your next course of action should be.

Two good non-prescription supplements to try for brain health are GABA and L-Dopa powder.  2-3 grams/day dissolved under the tongue will help raise levels of GABA and dopamine in the brain, giving you a calmer and sharper mind.  You can also drink Chamomile tea to keep your anxiety levels down as needed, though GABA and L-Dopa should change your mood for the better almost immediately.

Cutting yourself is a sign that you were severely neglected and/or sexually abused as a child.  Fix your brain first, and deal with your past issues with a clear mind.

You're going to be okay, but you need to take care of yourself first.  That's important.

P.S. I've been through the h**l of psychotropic meds and was forced to get off my meds when I developed a heart condition.  I was physically fit before going on these meds.

P.P.S.  I have used GABA and L-Dopa and realized incredible results w/o the harmful side effects of prescription meds.  I would never take prescription meds again.

  8. It would probably benefit you to go see a doctor to help you deal with immediate symptoms.

However, beyond that, and talking about any issues you may have with (preferably) a therapist... The rest of it is up to you. You have to help you deal with your problems, as soon as you are well enough to have an unclouded perspective on your life.

Anyway, it's okay to feel depressed... As long as you confront what is causing to to feel that way... Be it a chemical imbalance or unsettled issues you may have.

Try going for a walk sometime. Notice the little things around you. Take note of any sensory perceptions. Life is beautiful, and all of that noise. It helps.
