Should i get a tattoo while nursing?

I am still nursing my 9 month old son 2-3 times a day and i want to get a small tattoo. Has anyone gotten a tatto while they were nusring? Will it affect the breast milk? help

Just wait until you are done nursing. It isn't worth the risk.

Your body has plenty to do producing milk to nurse that baby. Even with good care, I know someone whose new tattoo got infected and they needed to use anti-biotics both oral and topical. That would definitely get into the breast milk. Enjoy this time with your baby. I had to stop nursing at 10 months due to complications. You can never get that time back.
