Should i get a toung piercing?

i was wondering if i should get a toung piercing it looks really cool,but i dont know what other people might think about it.

I got my tongue pierced years ago, I never had any trouble with it - just follow the instructions they give you about looking after it while it heals & you'll be fine.  I love mine, I got it because I liked the look of them, and I've never regretted it. Most people don't notice it at all, those that do usually only want to know if it hurt (it didn't).

i think it looks pretty cool

but personally i wouldnt get one as i have heard horror stories about piercing a vein and bleeding to death....

Your tongue is one of the easiest places to keep from getting infected, there people are just nay-sayers. The saliva and bacteria in your mouth keep the piercing pretty clean but you should still rinse with alcohol free mouthwash. ANYWAY, yeah I think they look great, I've pierced my own and it does not hurt much at all it just swells a lil.

the only girls at my school who have tounge rings are the ones that LOVE to give blow jobs. But i think they are really cute and as long as your not like the girls at my school then go ahead and get one :-D

i wouldnt.

there are more negative things about it than positive.

most guys wouldnt want to kiss you, and it can very easily become infected. my friend got one a few years ago and something she ate got the piercing infected. it was so disgusting. she had to take it out and let it close up because it had pus in it.

I say go for it. But you have to keep it very clean. My aunt got one, and it got infected and all she could do was taste puss for a month.
