Should i get an XBOX 360 ELITE OR A PLAYSTATION 3.?

I really want both of them but for right now which do you all think would be better to get?

I've got both and the only reason I got the PS3 was for BluRay movies, the PS3 is not a games console, it's a BluRay player that just happens to play games.

The XB360 also had onling gaming worldwide, backwards compatability, more downloadable content, is cheaper, more reliable, better customer service, (such as a freephone number), and they're always polite, when I got my XB360 repaired, they gave me 2 free wireless headsets, a wireless pad, and 2 months XBL, my PS3, nothing, and it cost me nearly £10 for the phone call to their premium rate line.

Sony didnt make a game console this gen, sadly. To reinforce this, none of their newer models will play the expansive and great game library of last gen. Its an inexpensive blu-ray player though. Great for rebuying your movie selection in a format they weren't filmed at and benefit little from.

360 has almost every great title ps3 does, as well as alot more. We werent expecting on buying a 360. We figured sony had something great for us. We were wrong and have been enjoying our 360 ever since sony released its plans for this gen.

If you plan on cultivating dust, ps3 is great for that, as well as is the psp. Our psp lived under the sink for 6 months, before being traded in, and has never been missed.

Go to www.gamefaqs.com, www.gamespots.com, or www.playstation.com. Check out game reviews, trailers, and screenshots. Now you can look at all the games you might be interested before you buy either system. But the PS3 does have some awesome games out already.(i have a PS3,PS2,Gamecube,a Wii, and a PSP)

Xbox 360 because they have tons of games and it has a wide variety of them.I have one and I love it! I can get all kinds of games and there are alot of people that have xboxs so you can play with your friends or other people on Xbox live.

Pretty much the same thing but with different games and a slighty difference in graphics that you won't notice but if you like putting your own music in games than 360 is the way to go,about ps3 the console itself feels heavy as h**l and looks very bulky theres not much you can do with it....STOP!!!... go 360 BRO,i own each of the major systems xbox360,ps3,wii and psp and i play the box the most because i like enjoying my own type of music while playing games...however i don't like the fact that if you wanna go wireless you have to purchase xboxs' wifi thingy but ethernet cable works fine...

It all depends dude, im going to make this quick..

360= better online play, way more games and more classics and fun games, good online comunication, halo 3, gears of war, more suitable for younger audiences ( looks more childish but easier )

ps3= better graphics, good games soon to come, videos music etc. & internet but wayyyy worste online play, harder to chat online

Ps3 is more like an advanced system to me.. While 360 looks more easier and less complex. It all depends what you want, either good online play and classics or graphics and internet. Gl choosing.

If you plan on playing with lots of friends but want to have to pay £5 a month to do it, go with an xbox 360. But if you want a tiny bit better graphics and good but free online play, go for the PS3.
