  1. Both devices are cool but I would say all things considered get an ipod classic.

    Here are things to concider...

    IPOD CLASSIC:

    Pros:

5x's larger memory. classic 80/160 vrs touch 32.

[What the Classic will hold: Movies, approx' 100 or TV shows, approx' 500]

    HiDef screen.

Cheaper by as much as $100. depending on the sizes you compare.

    Cons:

    No Wifi internet.

    Less game options.

    IPOD TOUCH:

    Pros:

HiDef screen, twice the size of the ipod classic and, of course, touchable.

    WiFi internet.

Decent sized memory for a massive MUSIC collection.

App store, but it does cost $9.99 to get.

    Cons:

The screen although bigger, is best suited for videos not music, the bigger hidef screen is relitivly usless if you're a music

buff. If you like videos then the memory its going to be suitable.

WiFi is restricted to Wifi. Interent is only accesible in Wifi Hot spots like in your home or school, resturants, cafe shops.

The touch internet is limited to only mp4 video format it will not play other types of videos or download any type of

program from a any site other then itunes or the appatore. YOu cant watch videos from news sites or movie preview sites

    any of that.

Memory of the touch (32gb) isn't suitable for creating a good movie or TV collection.

[ What the touch will hold: Movies, approx' 20 or TV shows aprrox' 100 ]

The app store, although cool, does cause system failures from time to time with the touch because the software is third

    party.

I have over 900 TV shows on my ipod classic, 10 movies and 300 music files. I have a 160gb Classic. A 160gb Ipod Classic

is 10x bigger the the current ipod touch.

I like the classic, and I think the touch is waaay over rated. I have a iphone; the iphone, is a far better device then the

Classic, although the memory is small. I can get on the net anywhere I want when ever I want and it has the app store

    like the touch does. The touch isnt worth the money, if it was maybe twice the size, memory wise, or $150 cheaper;

maybe even $100 cheaper it would be worth the hipe. But if you're looking for glitz and a fashion statement then the

thouch is yout hing but if practicality is your thing and memory size is then the Classic is the correct chose.

  2. itouch

  3. I hate the ipod touch. I have a few different types of ipod and I find touch to be too sensitive so it takes a long time to use as it messes everything up. Plus, frankly if you have a good cell phone there is no need for the added features of touch.

Go with a nano. They are cheaper and the new one performs wonderfully, especially for video. Of course Ipod classic is great too. I got the nano specifically because it has the capability of syncing up with the nike sport kit which is a blessing.

  4. If you have a lot of songs and videos surpassing 30GB, u should go for iPod classic. But wait u can do more with iPod Touch. You not only have the functions of what iPod Classic offers u. You can install apps on the iPod Touch, read emails, surf the internet and play many games on it. iPod Touch has a larger screen and made viewing your own videos better and you can also watch YouTube videos on it without conversion.
