ok so right now i have an RCA lyra mp3 player and i've had it for a while. the problem is the the songs aren't organized, and i constantly have to delete things to make room for new stuff. also, i can't get the songs from itunes onto it.

so should i get an ipod? i hear that after a few years they break down. so is it worth it?

also, what kind should i get? i don't want to spend a lot of money.

thank you :D

  2. I had no problem with my ipod lasted over 3 years, battery started dying, but thats b/c i didnt take good care of it, went through h**l and back and still works..just needs a new battery which i can get for cheap...itunes works well and is easy to use...i highly recommend them.

  3. I bought an ipod nano 8gb and I absolutely love it.  It retails at about 200 but you can get cheaper ones, I got mine off craigslist for very cheap.  I listen to it in my car with an adapter and use it anywhere in the house with a port speaker when I dont want the buds in, also like someone else said itunes is easy to use and the apple store is super helpful.  I even watch tv on it when Im waiting somewhere boring, its great.  you can organize playlists with a drop and drag system too.  If you want to save money look on ebay or CL, hope it helps!

  4. dont get an ipod

    get zunes.

    ipoods freeze...

ive dropped my zune 3 or 4 times and nothings happened.

  5. don't get a nano!!! my friend and i have had to send our ipod nanos back 4 times cuz they keep braking... however mini;s and classics are awesome!

  6. just buy a Creative Labs Zen (the black one) its like 100-150$ for 8gb

that mp3/mp4 player is really good. you can watch videos on it and view photos like an ipod but it also has a fm tuner and a voice recorder. Also the resolution is excellent

  7. i think you should get a itouch, i have one and absolutely love it! It is a little more expensive , but you get what you pay for . It has internet, an organizer and you can hold a ton of pictures. i have about 700 pics on mine and over a thousand songs and still have room for more. i have the 8GB but they make a 16GB and a 32GB. Hope this helped!!!!!!

PS he itouch comes with a 2yr warranty!!!!  and instead of itunes use Frostwire.com or Limewire.com. just download teh program wich takes like 2 seconds!

  8. actually, it is possible to get the songs from itunes onto your rca mp3 player.

music files from itunes are drm-laden. in order to play them on mp3 players other than ipod and iphone, you need a special program to help strip off the protection and convert the itunes m4p, m4b, m4a music to mp3. i always use tuneclone. my friend introduced it to me. it automatically generates a virtual cd burner, with which the music files can be converted at very high speed.

you can learn more about it from:

  9. Well . . . Hmmmm. . . I love my ipod and they are pretty good if you ask me but if you want to be able to see your song and organize them and such I suggest you get a nano but if you dont want to spend too much you could get a shuffle but i still say the shuffle isnt worth that money but the nano is totally worth it but if the nano is over your budget i would check on ebay for the older version of the the nano or the new version just at a cheaper price.

    Good Luck!

    Hope That Helped You Out!

  10. Get a nano. You could get one that comes in silver or black that holds 1,000 songs ($149) Or the one that I have holds 2,000 songs and comes in black silver blue green pink red ($199) red one dontates money to the product red foundation if you buy that one. Both are photo and video capable. Or if you want to get something fancy or want to splurge get the i-touch. Its the i-phone without the phone.

  11. if you get an ipod your best bet is the ipod classic its got plenty of room 4 all your stuff and its fairly cheap compared to the i pod touch and has more room 2 =)
