  1. you need 0 awg power and ground  a good power capacitor and a yellow top optama battery

  2. first of all, i would recommend staying away from xplod product line altogether. yes theyre inexpensive but you get what u pay for. i had a 1200w amp from them, come to find out its a 550 amp and 1200 peak, they r known for that, advertising their PEAK power instead of their RMS power.  if you truly wanna show off ur sound system man stay away from xplod, even tho some have sounded DECENT.  second, mixing subwoofer sizes is a no-no.  now its a no no not a can-not-be-done, your looking at a huge task that may not even pay off in the end. crossovers, some serious tuning and some old fashioned luck.  if i wer eyou id run just the fosgate subs, because i am sure they r pushing more power continuously

  3. You should definately get a high output alternator. You should also get another battery.I would actually recomend getting two optima batteries. Replace the one under the hood with one optima and put the other in your trunk. Dont worry about ventilation with the one in the trunk, because optima batteries are, sealed and filled with a gel not water, so you could actually mout it upside down if need be(not saying you should). Keep in mind this would be pretty expensive. hope i helped.

  4. yeah getting some more batteries wouldnt be such a bad idea but im not really sure. i know when people put tons of new electronics in there car like tvs and stuff they get another battery so i would think you would

  5. make sure u use a 2 ga. wire and just the alt. upgrade cause it powers the batt. so it can give it more power,,,so maybe a fresh batt. and goooooooooooooooo

  6. i am going to assume those are all peak/max wattage's (which mean nothing) so all of those wattage specs for the subs can get cut i half right off the bat (all you care about is RMS wattage)

that Legacy amp is VERY over rated you would be lucky to get half of its advertised RMS wattage

its not a good idea to mix the size of your subs because they will cancel each other out- they will have different frequency responses and different sensitivities- so the sound quality will most likely be very bad

as far as upgrading your charging system the first step is to upgrade your wires, it that is not sufficient then you get a H.O. alternator (or a second alternator), then you look into an extra battery and/or power cell (capacitor)

If your lights don't dim then you are safe and the alternator can handle the load so you don't need the upgrade

here's a good test of your charging system

with the car started turn on your AC and/or rear defrost while the car is idling with the headlights on at night, then turn up the volume past halfway- If the lights dim (very noticeable) or the RPMs drop you will need to upgrade
