Should i get another fish?

Question

I have two betta fishes in different bowl one living for 3 years still

alive.One living for a couple of weeks and still alive.

I want a goldfish.An oranda.I mean i will have to do a lot of cleaning but

still i don't really do anything.I also have a bunny.Actually my dad cleans the cage and everything but i look after it.

sure but you need a gravel vaccum to clean it's waste and don't forget you need a 25 gallon tank to keep the oranda because of so huge they get and each of your bettas should be kept in a 5 gallon tank so they can live happier and longer.

A goldfish needs a 20 gallon tank, plus 10 gallons for each additional goldfish. But if you don't actually take care of the pets you have, you shouldn't get another one. Your dad might not want to have to maintain an aquarium too.

Sure, go for it! But, unlike Betas Goldfish can't breath straight from the air like them. They have a special organ that allows them to that. ( i think it's called like a labrinth or something like that) But, i would suggest getting a 5 or 10 gallon tank because Goldfish need the air from a filter. Also, you would be surprised how long they can live and how big Goldfish can get! I would recommend on researching on them before getting one. That way you know what to do,what to feed them ect.

Don't listen to people who tell you to get a bowl...bowls are only good for cereal. Fish don't like bowls. Your Betta's would be better of to themselves. Beautiful fish, but ornery, Oranda do get big, invest in a 20 gallon tank for it, and cleaning is a must! Orandas just like any goldfish are messy..messy...messy. Make sure that your filtration is good, and invest in a "python"( not a snake) it is a cleaning tool that is easy to use once you get the hang of it. If Dad likes to help out with your critters, let him....less for you to do!

Sure.  Get a goldfish just do not get a bowl for the fish.  Get a 5 or 10 gallon aquarium for a goldfish because they can become large.  A betta is the only suitable fish for a fish bowl.
