My life sucks, my parents are divorced my dad lives in California and my mother lives in Minneosota, i currently live with my mother in a crummy $350 a month apartment.. i go on the internet 1 hour a week from librarys etc., as i am now .. my mom forced me to get a job and i am only 15 she gets her money from working at a cleaning store , my older brother Derrell is out selling drugs and my mom favors him because he brings in more money then me . i get jumped everyday at school because the only school i can go to is a all whites basically me and my best friend Jackson are the only Blacks in the hole school filled with racism, they call us '*******' 'jiggaboos' etc., my father used to beat me that's why i moved in with my mother who is molatto so she cannot really related to me being bullied for my colour.. i know minneosota doesn't sound "badass" but this is how it is for me.. should i get emancipated ?

  1. that sounds really hard....in the uk there arent many places where u would get bullied for ur colour, it seems in some parts of the USA its much more acceptable to be racist, especially in certain areas, where i live its about 20% black and about 30% asian and we have almost no racism here...I feel so sorry for you....that is really bad.

  2. In order to get emancipated you have to be able to support yourself finanically and prove you are responisble.

    Its really hard tho bro

If you are still not sure, call your local DHS and find out. They will know the exact guidelines in your state.

  3. Dude that sucks. That is wrong of your mother to favor your brother, he is making money the wrong way. You will be a really strong hard working person when you grow up. Im sorry you have to go with all of the racists c**p...F**k those white guys and if they ever leave that town or state there gonna get ther @$s jumped by other non-racist white people... Your only 15 though. Before you do get emancipated ask yourself this.

    1. Can I support my self financially?

    2. Do I have a stable, promising job?

    3. Has my family only been tearing me down?

    4. Can I afford to fly to a state where there is little racism?

If you said yes to all of these then do what ever you want. You seem like a very responsible man and I'm pretty sure you could make it on your own...Oh and I also am white [didn't mean to sound racist above sorry] But they have no reason to treat you like that. I live in a small town in Washington and we have people of all skin colors so racism has never been a problem in my area.

  4. It's not going to be as fun as it looked on "The Simpsons", dude.

  5. well you can;t get emanicipated with out both your parents consent - and if they would agree do youthink you would be able to earn enough money without a HS diploma to move out and pay rent utilities ect.    You would probably would end up in $350 apt. and working full time having no money at the end of the week just like your mom is now.  I don't see getting emanicpated making your home life easier than what you have now you would have alot more responsibilities than you have now.  As far as schools go would it be possible to transfer to another school?  If not maybe you could ask your mom if she would let you get your GED if it is that bad.  If your brother is keping drugs in the home or selling out of the home I would call the police or CPS see if they could help you in some way to get out of the situation.

  6. yes, GET out or you rmom's house,

since you rmom's so ignorant of your brother Derrell, tha's pathetic of your mother!!!!

    yes, get emancipated.

EDIT- hey maybe you could find ou if you coul be placed with a foster home, that way you coul have like a place to stay, and they are checked out with the state to make sure it's a safe place.

I've been to minnesotamany times, I have family members there,

    I myself live in oregon,

My oh my it gets cold there, sheesh

    God bless you.
