Should i get help from school counselor?

Question

When i was 3 yrs old my babysitters husband molested me until i was five or six. and when i was put into daycare i was molested by a girl that was 4 or 5 years older then me. During those years until i was 9 i was molested by my cousin who is only 4 years older than me. i know that most will say tell my mother but i already have and she says that i am to smart to be going to a psychiatrist and that it can mess up any job i may want in the furture. i know that i need help and i was wondering if she can help me.

This is pretty serious..... and that fact your mother said you are to smart to go to a psychiatrist is unfair. you obviously need to get this stuff off your chest, it is important to, If you don't it could lead to depression or other mental issues when you are older, the way i see it, and i don't mean to be harsh, is see a psychiatrist now and have on record that you are strong enough to identify that you need help, or put it off, bottle it up and eventfully going crazy and losing your job and mind, possibly your family.

go if you want, but nobody is going to undo what has been done. it's all about YOU learning to accept and cope with life as it is....not as it should have been

go to her if you think u need help
