Should i get into surfing?

Question

i can kind of skate.And i dont know if i should try and surf?i need help.im thinking of buying a cheap practice surf board.when my dad comes back from over seas in about a months time.help me please.

yeah mate get into it...all the stress in ur life just melts away once u get in the water

You probably should give it a try as long as you are a pretty good swimmer!  It is awesome once you master dropping in and turning left and right, kick backs off the top of the wave!  Or just crusing along on a long ride enjoying the quite energy of the sea that is carring you along, its almost spiritual, well that may not be the best word but you do feel close to nature and there is really nothing like it!
