Should i get it or not? Is something worth spending $25 if it has sentimental value?

With the "recession" going on i don't have as much freedom to buy insignificant things as i used too. But recently while shopping for books for school i stumbled across a small music box, the song it played was the same lullaby my grandmother sang to me when i was a small child. Instantly i wanted it so much i couldn't bare letting it go!!!! Unfortunately it was $25 and it made me wince to imagine spending it on something that i really didn't need all that much. But i can't get the melody out of my head now and i've searched all the little boutiques and baby stores and gift shops etc. around my area to see if they might have a cheaper music box. Unfortunately the $25 one was the cheapest. What should i do? I can't decide! It'll be a smart decision to save my money yes, but something this...valuable, to me at least...would it be such a waste to spend a few dollars on a happy memory which i can pass down to my future children someday? Is it a wise decision to let it go? What if i can't find a music box like this for a long time?

  1. go for it!  you have to treat yourself every once and a while

just don't spend the money if you have overdue bills

maybe you could look online to find it cheaper, ebay or amazon?

  2. If you really want it ask ur mother for it and explain, how you feel but as u said it somat u really don't need,  then you said in another had it somat  u could pass down to ur future children,  ill go for it .
