  1. if its just a one story, its right on top of a foot of concreate, and its not going anywhere!!

Now if lets say you are on a house that is lifted up yeah u should def get ur floor checked out.

  2. dont worry about it..

A 53 gallon is only 500lbs give or take on your set up..

If you dont worry about runing a bath tub full of water on the same floor then dont worry at all..

  3. no it will be fine if your floor can hold up a fridge

a fridge weighs more per square foot on the floor than a 200 gallon tank and your only talking about a 55gallon tank

  4. no your good.......

i wouldn't worry till you get to the 100 gallon range

  5. i don't think that's really necessary. it's only one story, and your floor should hold 55 gallons. i mean, it holds all the other furniture in your house, doesn't it?

  6. You should definitely check if the floor is level, even if your floor is sitting right on the foundation. An unlevel flooring can put too much pressure on one part of the glass and/or stand, which can cause alot of problems.
