  1. I'm a left-handed guitar player myself, and I owned a Yamaha acoustic (right-handed) which I strung left-handed and played for a year and a half.  I just recently purchased a acoustic electric guitar made left-handed, but obviously left-handed guitars are harder to find and are often more expensive.  Stringing a right handed guitar left-handed is a perfectly good solution temporarily until you have the means to purchase a nicer left-handed guitar.

  2. you will have intonation problems (the notes wont be in tune)

plus look at how similar writing and picking the guitar are so you should just learn it right handed

another reason is because people who play the right handed guitar but are left handed arent ussuly as good picking the guitar i cant pick as fast as id like too

  3. You can, but it's going to take effects on the neck. Plus everything is going to be backwards. You are better off just getting a new lefty guitar. Or learn to play upside down. lol. That's what I did. :-)

  4. You can do that, but if you're playing an electric guitar the k***s and controls will get in the way of your strumming hand because they're not in their original place. The body may only be customized for right-handed players and feel weird when reversed.

If you play acoustic, it's much easier to convert.

But with whatever guitar you play, you may need to change the nut on the guitar as well, as each slot is cut specifically for each string.
