It depends on what kind of game you like. If you own another pokemon game and liked it, you might want Diamond. that would also give some variety. If you want both Guitar Hero's you have to know what Guitar Hero 2 will give you. I suggest you to look up what the tracklist is of Guitar Hero 2 to see if there are songs that you really like. Because the songs are the only things that are a reason to buy Guitar Hero 2. Guitar Hero 2 is just a less good version of Guitar Hero 3, and Guitar Hero 3 is more challenging. If there isnt a song you like really much there just isnt a reasong to buy Guitar hero 2.

Personally I would go for the Diamond and Guitar Hero 3, because Guitar Hero 3 has all the good things of the previous versions. Pokemon Diamond is also a great game, unless you dont like to catch as many pokemon as possible or battle via wifi. You really shouldnt buy Diamond if you just want to play the story and then stop.
