Should i get the Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360?

Sounds like you already made up your mind.

The Wii is not only great for social gaming (i.e. multiplayer gaming in the same room), but it has an ever-growing collection of games for both young, old, and for everybody. And it does have one of the best games period in Super Mario Galaxy (see GameRankings.com).

The 360 is better for more "mature" games, and by mature I mean games with lots of violence, blood, and more adult themes. It's a better console for online multiplayer gaming. The most popular genres here are sports, shooters, and racing games.

Which console you get depends on what type of gamer you are.

The Wii is everyone friendly- all of it's games are easy to "pick up and play", and it also has the unique Wii Mote.  However, the variety of games at this time are rather limited and the online isn't that advanced.

The 360 has amazing online capabilities (Though it will cost you), and a large variety of games (Ranging from "kid" games like "Viva Pinata" to mature games like "Gears of War").  XBox also has a lot of good exclusives. With XBox Live you also have the ability to download demos, game content, rent movies, and much more.  And this fall, XBox is expanding the online content even further (Including an avatar system that out does the Wii.)

The downside to the 360 is that it's common to get the infamous "Ring of Light", which is a system failure that disables your 360.  However, Microsoft has a free 3 year warranty plan that covers this problem if it happens to you.

Personally, as an avid gamer, I love my 360 and couldn't live without out it.  I also purchased a Wii, but tired of it after about a month.

but wii is more phyisical so it keeps you fit more

The Wii is more physical, but my opinion, I'm a girl of the Xbox 360 just because of Call Of Duty 4. It's addicting and the graphics are so much better than a Wii. With a Wii though, you are much more physical and has a lot of games, the internet, and Miis that you can make of people. But like I said before, Xbox 360 has better graphics, Internet, and Call Of Duty 4 is the best game out there.

wii completely dominates 360. wii has new options and has a "phisical"

gameplay. it also has fun games. 360 has bad games, is almost same as the normal xbox. just a graphic improvment, nothing else... 360 sux and wii rox
