  1. No, if you couldn't easily afford to replace a small luxury item, like a ps3, you should probably postpone your buying decision.

If a ps3 is an investment, what's your return on investment?  negative?  The only people I know who have a ps3 could replace it 100000x over, so throwing away a few hundred on a luxury item is no big deal.

  2. NO, usually these are a scam. Treat your system with care and you will be fine!

  3. You should. That is a LARGE investment and if something happens to it, you'll have your behind covered. Chances are- you won't need it. But if it overheats or something after the return grace period has expired, you'll be kicking yourself for not getting the plan.

Everytime I buy an expensive gadget from Best Buy, I get the protection plan. I've used it once before for my mp3 player (they just told be to grab a new off the shelf and I was done!) and I will be using it again for my digital camera, which now has a cracked screen.

It's not a scam. It's insurance on your investment.

  4. i would.

you dont know what can happen.

    just get it.

because than you dont have to act like its a new born baby.

so if anything happens its covered

  5. I wouldn't bother.  It only covers "manufacturer's defects".  It doesn't cover "oops I dropped it", "oops my dog ate it" or "oops it was stolen", the three biggest things that happen to them.

  6. No i think you don't need that one.I bought a TI 84 calculator and with that i bought a insurance thing. Now if i want to change my calculator i can change it within 1 year without any charge.I think you should buy that one, it only cost me$17.
