I already have the 360 and ps3 and was thinking about getting a nintendo wii. Im 16 years old and im not into some of the kiddy games ive seen for the wii. The sport games are actually what interest me for it and i think it might be fun. Can you please tell me what your opinion is if i should get the wii as ive never played it before? Thanks in advance im just trying to make up my mind.

  1. Are you freaking mad ? The WII is the worst gaming console in history,

  2. i wouldnt get it because all of the good games are on ps3 and 360 anyway, my cousin bought one and he had a ps3 and he hardly ever plays the wii.... and alot of ppl are saying that it messes up with the sensor... the wii only has kiddy games anyway, like mario kart, super smash bros, etc.... take the money you were gonna use for the wii and get some good games for ps3 or 360...

  3. You know what I think you should do: Go and try it out before you make a decision! You never know what a machine is like until you actually TRY IT OUT! You mustn't simply listen to these hardcore PS3 and Xbox 360 fanboys, because you know perfectly well that all they care about is "button mashing" and games with gore and violence!

At least Nintendo is trying their hardest to take gaming to a whole new level, whilst Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's Xbox sequels are hardly any different in terms of GAMEPLAY compared to their predeccessors!

Seriously, all they may have changed is this:

Both have better graphic engines, woopdedoo, doesn't always make up for good gameplay!

    High-Definition - whatever

PS3 has Blue-ray player functionality: so what, can't we wait a while until ACTUAL Blue-ray players get released? Transition between DVD and Blue-Ray takes a while you know, so please be careful on what people say: movies are nice and all to watch in good quality, but to spend 80 dollars for the movie rather than buy a ticket for 20 dollars is just simply not worth the cut at all!

Both have wireless controls and PS3 has six-axis function - oh ok, so we decided to rip off Nintendo's Wii controls did we? How original!

Both have nearly the SAME game titles and/or genres: Shooters, sports games, fighting, a few adventure games, but that's it basically

Xbox Live is nice, online is nice, can't compare it to the wii AT ALL

    PS3 Network is whatever

    Now for the Wii:

much more FUN, funner GAMEPLAY, more VARIETY of games, more WELL-KNOWN franchises like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, and so on! Along with this, you still got your famous third party games like the sports games, movie-based games, your Shooters, your GTA-like games and so forth! The wii virtually has it all! Maybe not Halo or Call of Duty 4, but still got Call of Duty 5 coming out for the wii, so prepare for the best!

Fun and innovative motion controls! The ability to use FOUR control schemes: Wii remote, Wii remote and Nunchuk, classic Controller, and even the good old Gamecube Controller!

Is backward compatible with Gamecube games! Through the Wii shopping service, you have the ability to buy some old Nintendo, Sega and Turbographx and even Neo Geo games! Even...original budget titles like Defend your Castile, Dr.Mario - Online Rx/ and Germ Busters, Star Soldier R, etc...!

Best multiplayer experiences you will have with the wii with Mario Kart Wii with the ability to drive with the wii wheel AND/OR the other controls I mentioned, Super Smash Bros Brawl, same reason, the soon-to-be Mario Super Sluggers, with the ability to mimic the moves of a TRUE BASEBALLER!

Please, don't make me prove my point anymore! Enough is enough! No one should put the wii down AT ALL! It is something different for ONCE, and EVERYONE should acknowledge its uniqueness somehow! You don't have to completely like it, but SURELY, just SURELY, you can admire it to SOME extent! Please, just perhaps consider the wii on your shopping list! You won't regret it! You will regret not trying something new FOR ONCE, so please....consider the wii!

  4. I would not recomend it, specially since you already have both of the competitors, which are superior machines by far. The Wii is more for the occasional gamer that does not want to invest in a more serious console.
