Should i give it another try?

Question

I went out on a date with a guy who was boring. I didn't feel any excitement for him. So I decided to dump him but he has been persistence to try to win me over.

However, I have been having second thoughts about it. I have been thinking about giving it another shot sine we only went on 2 dates. I want to be friends with him now and see were it leads. I am going to let him know straight up that I want to be friends for now and see were it goes.

So should I give it another try?
