Should i give up on going to the nba?

cause my coach said i was to short and i should try something but im better than anybody on the team im 5 8 and i just turned 17 a couple days ago

  1. never give up your dream my man but always have a plan b remember even michael jordan got cut from his high school team your the same height as a slam dunk champion nate robinson(knicks)and if you are as good as you say you are things will work  out maybe youll have to go play in the nbdl or overseas for a while but you can do it make sure you go to college though like i said have a plan b people are always going to tell you what you cant do just keep telling yourself what you can do keep your head up playa

  5. so? I remember a certain all star had a coach said that he couldn't make it to the NBA. Your coach isn't always right. Earl Boykins is about 5'5" and he had an average career You should evaluate your skills and your potential truthfully and ask yourself if you have the talent and if you are willing to work hard to make it.
