Should i give vita-sol to guinea pigs?

i bought a vita-soul thing that says on the bottle its for hamsters and gerbils but i bought it for my guinea pigs should i give it to them and how much should i give them?

It it the vitamins you put in their water? There's really no reason for it. Just give them timothy hay-based pellets, timothy hay, and a cup of fruits and veggies each day, things like parsley and romain lettuce especially, and your guinea pig will do fine.

No, take it back to the store & get your money back.

First, guinea pigs do not need any vitamins other than Vitamin C. If the solution contains anything other than Vitamin C, it could make your piggie sick.

Secondly, Vitamin C supplementation is only necessary if your piggie does not have an adequate diet, is sick, or is pregnant. As long as your feeding your piggie a high quality pellet with stabilised Vitamin C in it, fresh hay, and fresh veggies rich in Vitamin C, there is no need for anything extra.

no you should not give it to a guinea pig it could kill or hurt them if its meant for hamster and gerbils you should return it or you could call a vet and ask for ther perfesial vew on it weather to give them some or not
