  1. Brisk walking is always much better than using the exercise bike. With brisk walking, you are looking at a certain distance covered rather than the number of calories burnt (which is just a farce)...

    A rather less rapid heartbeat during exercise is a more effective way to lose weight if that is what you want to achieve.

    Really, exercise has to be fun and enjoyable so that you love doing it and can stay long in it to see results, whether for weight loss or for maintaining health.

    If you love walking, by all means, go walking.

    If you love biking, then go for it.

    There's no rule to say that one is better than the other. If you're talking about calories burned per session, then it depends on how intense you do the exercise.

    The higher the intensity, the more calories you burn.
