Should i go for min 3 years empoyment visa & what would be implication if i leave before 3 years?

  1. depends from country to country.

    In my case (i'm working in UAE), once you got employment visa & labour card, it will be valid for 3 years. If you leave before 3 years, u will get automatic ban from ministry of labour for 6 months (it means you have to go outside the country for 6 months and then you can return back to work to other company). But in other case, you can leave the company to work to other company (for the same country of course) if you got NOC (No Objection Certificate). That's on the visa part.

    In additional, company also will put on the contract the minimum work period although most contract is unlimited. For example, for me, they put 2 years. It means, if before 2 years i leave the company, i have to pay all the expenses the give for me (for visa, health card, insurance, etc).
