not THAT kind of physical (anal) but i mean like to check my overall health etc. I've got a lot of questions to ask my doctor. I want him to run tests on me such as cardiovascular, respiratory and endurance tests etc. Should i consult a different type of physician for those types of tests?

I mean I want to be sure about my overall health and this is the only way i feel like i will be 100% sure. I also live in canada so will i get some sort of advantage to my visits with doctors?

any thoughts?

  1. When it comes to health there is no way to be 100% sure that all is ok.  People have walked out of a physical checkup and had a heart attack on the footpath.

    I would suggest:

    A balanced diet.

    Right amount of sleep.

    Avoid drugs and alcohol.

I gather from your question you a sports minded person and your doing well.  You concern is reasonable as youth does not equal no risk.

Speak to the coach and then your doctor.  Tell him of your sports and concerns.  These test all cost money.  Who is paying?

  2. you should get a physical once a year every year

this way you'll make sure nothing is wrong and your body is developing normally

plus, you'll get to ask your doctor any questions

and maybe you'll be lucky and have a hot doctor or nurse

  3. Dude you havent got one yet?

I got my first one when i was 12

then once a year so yes you should im 15 too

  4. You should have a physical to get checked out for any health problems and to give you a chance to ask questions.

However, unless the physician finds problems, I doubt they will do much in depth testing for the cardiovascular, respiratory and endurance types of things you mentioned.

  5. it would,nt hurt to have a complete check up.
