Should i go to a Junior college before a University?

My parents say that I could get all my college i need with the Junior college in our town,

and if i want to continue school i could go to a major college later...

i want to be in healthcare but not sure exactly what,

i think they're just saying that because they don't want me to leave,

but i was just wondering if it would be better to start off in a Junior college or go straight to a University?

i don't really want to be stuck in this small town more than i have to be lol

oh - i'm going to be a junior in highschool soon so i still have some time to think about things

  1. Attending a junior college can be a very cost-effective way to earn General Education/Core credits (classes you have to take that usually don't pertain to your major).  If you do this, be careful to make sure that those credits will transfer!

  2. Do what you really want. If you want to go out of town to a university, go to the university. College is about your own decisions, not your parents'.
