  1. I too have been home schooled for a few years, and this year I had just decided to go back to school.

You should, I think your senior year, should be an awesome one. Maybe even a little romance? You have, Prom, other dances, friends, romance, college, and more to look forward too!

I think you should, but there is only one person who can make the final decision, and that is you.

    Best of luck! :)

  2. its up to u

if u want to go u go

    u don't have t ask other people!

  3. It is completely up to you. Some people it works out better then others. I knew a girl who had been in homeschool for 2nd 3rd and 4th grade and came back in 5th and loved it and it was great and also a little boy who had a harder time.

  4. get you *** in public school no one likes home schooled kids

  5. First, it looks better if you type properly and use correct grammar and spelling in your post. Heck, even Y/A has a spell checker! :)

As far as going to public school: that should be your last option. Like last option after dropping out, getting a GED, moving to Mexico, that sort of thing. Regardless of the quality of education in public schools (which is on average atrocious), the people you'll interact there will have such a tremendous impact on your life, and public schools aren't widely known for helping the homeless and starting rescue missions. You're likely to get pretty messed up in public school, especially since you'd be going in with no recent experience.

Finish your education at home, and you'll be grateful for it in a couple years.

  6. I  would avoid the public school system.  The teachers have been "dumbed down" to meet the "dumbed down" students. A graduation exercise is not a ceremony of material importance in the life of most students who are serious about living a total life.  Do what you think is best for your academic standing for college.   The graduation ceremony is a trivial reason to attend a school. The U.S. culture is a cesspool to which no child should be exposed unless it is the only educational option available to you.

  7. Yes, but I heard that some schools don't accept home school credits, so they might put you in a lower grade.

    :(

  8. I have a son who goes to public school and a daughter who homeschools, and I just talked about this very subject  with his counselor. She said she has been extremely impressed with the preparedness of homeschoolers who have enrolled. She mentioned that only one student did not transition successfully, it was a senior. She said that it really was too late to enter that late in the game. But I wondered if it was just the ability of that particular student.

If you are academically solid (I'll not judge this based on the grammar and spelling in your post), and you really feel that there are things you'll miss out on, you should try.

If you are behind the curve, entering without knowing a soul, shy etc., why not make the move to community college instead?

  9. I'm not at all clear WHY you want to go to public school. If it's just for silly social reasons you'd be much, much better off sticking with homeschool and finishing your education. There will be plenty of time for goofing off after you've graduated.

  10. h**l yeah you should go!

    senior year is the bomb!

imma be a senior this year too &

    i can't wait. (:

    class of '09 baby!
