Go to both. The boat between Sweden and Finland is an experience in itself. Sweden has the largest archipelago in the world and it's very pretty when you go through it.

Both countries are fun and there's lots to do and see.

Why not go to both countries as they are neighbours. Helsinki is a beautiful city by the sea, well worth visiting, has a little of an "east atmosphere", lively night life (after July), good restaurants, not quite like the other capitals of Europe. I´m sure you will have fun there.

From there you can take a boat to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, a beautiful city too. There are boats leaving every day to Stockholm, they usually leave at about 6 p.m. and you will be in Stockholm in the morning. The boat tour is quite fun, good food, night life, own cabin if you want and it´s not that expensive.

You can of course go to Stockholm first and from there to Helsinki by boat. I really recommend you to visit both the countries, you will not regret it, I assure you.
