Should i go to the doctor if i have a knot in my neck and my tonsils are kinda swollen?

they'll do a blood test and give you strong ibuprofen pills....it sounds like you have a minor infection or some kind of cold/flue virus. I would say take ibuprofen for a couple of days and if it doesn't go away in two days max then you need to go to the doctor.

I think you should go visit the doctor to make sure it is not a severe infection

Sounds like you might need to be on an antibiotic and have a culture taken to rule out strep.  You can't mess around with the possibility of strep, as it can cause other more serious problems.

Time to visit Dr. Pepper.  :)

when theyre swollen and I feel sore, I usually have an infection and need meds. Hope you feel better!

you might just want to get it checked out but otherwise i think your ok. you know what i do when my neck hurts i take a man's tube sock fill it with rice and tie the end, then put it in the microwave and warm it up put it on your neck it will feel better.
