Should i go to the party or not?

this friend of mine is having his graduation party today. i was gonna meet up with my friend there, but we'd have to go way late. my mom asked if i wanted to hang w/ her today, & i'd much rather do that because she's been pretty lonely lately.

i feel bad not going to his grad party, but we aren't like really close or anything. i also don't want to ditch my friend but most of the time she only cares about herself anyway.

what should i do?

I&#039;m a pretty sensitive person, I had the same problem one time. My friend was having her 12 birthday party, but my mom didn&#039;t know about it and asked me to hang out with her. Well, your mom has risen you all these years, and she wants to hang out with her child. But on the other hand your &quot;selfish&quot; friend who you don&#039;t even hang out with much is having a party. Does it help in different words? You can buy your friend a small present and give it to him at school or somthing, but for the most part, hang uot with your mom. You&#039;ll be glad you did later on.

or something like that.

Tell your mom about your problem. See what she thinks. Then offer to hang with her later and go to his grad party. Cuz maybe he&#039;ll be bummed if you don&#039;t show. You are his friend aren&#039;t you? And you have the rest of your life to hang with your mom.
