Question:

Should i go to world youth day?

I know this is question i have to answer myself but i am very indecisive and could use an feedback.

The facts

- i have the oppertunity to go in july

- i will miss 6 school days

- i am in grade 12

- I am not overly religous but think it would be a great personal experience

  1. I don't know what it is, but I almost never regret taking opportunities to go places, even if it means missing school.  I say go if you think it will be a great experience.  From my personal experience, people don't do much work that late in their senior year anyway.


  2. I'm in year 10 and going to WYD this year in July.

    I originally wanted to go because of the same reasons.

    I am not overly religion either.

    To answer your question; yes.

    It's a great opportunity that only comes around once every 8 years.

    And you most likely won't be able to go to the next WYD.

    I've heard from so many people it's a life changing experience.

    Missing 6 days in year 12 might not be the best idea, though.

    But if you really dedicate yourself to your studies before/after

    you'll be fine :)
