Should i grease my handle bar (throttle side) when installing new bars to put on my throttle and brake?

i was just wondering if i have to use some sort of grease to grease up the smooth handlebar (throttle side) when putting on the throttle and brake on my new bars

  1. No I wouldn't use grease.  

    If they are a tight fit, try some washing-up liquid.  This will go 'sticky' when it dries and stop your throttle and brake assembly moving around.

    This is also a handy tip for fitting new handlebar grips.


  2. NO

    Do not use grease or any kind of lubricant.

    It will attract dirt.

    Leave the handlebars completely dry.
