Should i hand carry or put my skateboard in the check in bag if i'm going to australia?

That's a crazy long trip...unless you plan on skateboarding at the airport or on the plane, I would definatley check it in. Do you really want to carry it?

hand luggage has to be a certain size, im sure your board is light enough but its probably too long. i'd check it in that way you dont have to worry about holding it

TRUST ME! i travel all the way from chicago to bosnia (SOMEWHERE AROUND 15 HOURS!) and it gets annoying carrying stuff.
