  1. Vicky W, Last week my mother underwent a tummy tuck operation and the results look really good so far. Where I live a there are certain surgeons that are better than others. I'd consult plastic surgeons in your area and see what they have to offer. http://www.plasticcosmeticsurgerycenter.... They should be able to answer your questions.

  2. This is entirely your call. But if you take this step, make sure you have a good doctor with a good track record. Some of the tv shows have put up some horrific stories about doctors who are in it for the money only and do not do a good job. There are those who are excellent though. My advice would be to try to track down some of the people who have been to him/her and hear what they have to say. Maybe see if you can get a background check on this doctor - maybe the Medical Association can help. That is just a thought - medical research is not my strong point. But if you find someone who IS good at medical research, that would be super good.

You have to live with the results (good or bad)  so I think it is worth your while to research the doctor and the hospital or clinic as thoroughly as possible.

Myself I have lived with my little post partum pot belly for 41 years and it hasn't hurt me one bit. I demand that my friends like me for my personality and not necessarily for my looks.

Good Luck with whatever you do! :o)

  3. Hello,

A tummy tuck is not something to do as opposed to diet and exercise. It is something to consider in addition. Also you may want to hold off on a tummy tuck if you are planning on more children afterward. You  may want to give this some thought.

    Best Regards,
