Should i have done this decision????

i had the 5th pick in the draft in my one league.....it went Brady,LT,AP,Westbrook

THIS is the CATCH....

1 point for every 10 yds rec/rush

1 point for every 20 passing.....

6pts for each TD

yeah i saw 20 passing and took peyton manning with the 5th pick......good idea???

i mean he will put up 4000+passing and 30+tds almost every year...thats 380 points

compared to like a LT season of 2000 total yds 20 scores....which is 320 points.....yeah thats LT though and no person like addai, jackson, barber will even be close to those numbers.....

did i do the right move taking peyton 5th?

peytons gone through (minor) knee surgery, and bresides- he is starting the downhill part of his career. very risky choice, i wouldve taken addai.

this is the point where peytons value is the highest- as soon as the season starts ppl will c his vlue go down- so trade him now, even if its a little not worth it 4 u. look 4 a QB like derek anderson + a decent rb/wr 4 manning

Nope.  Lots of people make that mistake - even though the QBs will outscore the RBs, you still take RB first.  Why?  Because there are lots of good QBs.  You will always be able to get a decent QB in later rounds.  The good RBs are all gone by the end of the second round.  The technical term is "standard deviation" - how the players are grouped around the average score.  With RBs, there will be huge differences between each player score-wise at the end of the season.  Not so with QBs.

Addai was the best pick.  Jackson would also be a decent choice but I would go with Addai who proved himself last year.

it was a pretty good pick yet you cant compare you cant compare a qb to a rb because peyton could get 380 but if brady has a similar season to last year he'll have 550

im sorry to say in my league peyton is 18th on pre draft rankings but on average was taken 11th in yahoo leagues
