  1. He seems fine now because he hasn't hit sexual maturity. When he does, he'll likely become more territorial, moody, and have other problems with sexual aggression. If you don't mind having an adult rabbit that pees on your walls and furniture and tries to mount everything (stuffed animals, your feet), don't get him neutered, but if you want a happy, mellow, easy-to-potty-train pet, get him neutered! It's pretty much for the same reason as dogs and cats - they make happier, better-adjusted pets because they aren't dealing with all those sexual urges. There's really no reason not to have him neutered - it certainly won't negatively affect his personality, and if done by an experienced vet, the risks from the surgery are very low.

Most male rabbits hit sexual maturity by 6 months, so that would be a good time to have the surgery done.

  2. this link is about the benefits and risks of neutering cats...

    http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/Cats-To-Neu...

most of it applies to bunnies too

read it. and decide for yourself

a single bunny isnt as likley to spray so that might not be a problem but if it is - its nasty!
