Should i install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929), ?

Question

but do i really need to install this update. it messes up my vista v.9 theme for windows xp

i created a restore point... i tried downloading a vista theme again.. to no avail

i prefer to use windows xp rather than vista because it is more easy to use and fix some errors.. do you really like vista themes? i think there is some W.O.R.M.S. encrypted in some themes just be sure to chose the right one... knowing which is which.... hehehehe the worm would take effect first before you knew it,, ^_^

SP3 is the last service pack for xp,it just updates SP2 a little bit,but you need all the help you can get.Leave the vista stuff alone or you are doomed.The two don,t mix-.

Just buy new computer and get Vista and you have all the Vista themes you want.

             windows xp service pack 3 is a waste of time in my honest opinion,all it does is combine all the 90 odd updates that xp have had into a few nice neat packages and a few useless updates thrown in for good measure

           however for all pc users with windows xp you are made to feel unsecure if you dont download and install this update,however theres very little if any security patches in this service pack so why should we worry ?

           from your initial question i think your best plan of action would be upgrade,you seem to like the vista interface  

and with the cost of vista oem version relatively cheap at the moment theres never been a better time to upgrade

           and as for vista go with the home premium version,this has all the main features and the 3d aero interface

            which vista theme are you trying to install,have you tried the "vista transofrmation pack"..this is a all in one package that will turn windows xp into a excellent looking windows vista clone

I'm sure the vista theme if you really need it can be tweaked to work i don't understand why not?

Eh, it's probably not gonna hurt the average home user to not have SP3...I didn't download SP2 until about 4 months after it came out.  You're fine without it! Just enjoy your Vista theme and forget about it. There's nothing uber important in it anyway.
