  1. I currently use Windows XP, and love it. However, if you want to make the step to Vista you need to be sure what you are getting into.

Vista uses 1GB of RAM to run itself. So you need at least 2GB.

If you don't have a really good computer, don't get it. If you do, and you think your printer is compatible with it. Go for it. However, if you have a slower computer, then stick with XP for now.

If you want the very slick look of vista, Download Bricopack.

  2. u can install vista if u want to  if u have atleast 1gig of ram     and   vista  takes 4.5gb off ur hardrive  (depending on what vista ur using)  were as windows xp is only 600 - 700 duno exact    the bad bits about vista is its slower start up than windows xp     and not all software    supports vista  (as far as i know)    but if ur planning to  play    the latest games  it worth the upgrade.

  3. Installing Vista is just like self harming. Melt the Vista disc, just in case you get any mad notions of installing it again. XP is a far better OP than Vista. I think Microsoft must have let some chimps loose in their development rooms to see what happens when they were making Vista.

  4. Do install Vista and in reference to Nvidia just go the home page and check for driver updates. You can also get Nvidia updates from your computer manufacturers home page.

  5. Vista works better with the new  type Quad/ Duo/ computers. To download your drivers go to the Nvidia web site and download them from there.

  6. No, don't install Vista. XP is way better and Vista has many problems to sort out before it can get ahead of XP. Microsoft have even added some time onto the XP cutoff date because they know Vista is so s h i t.

    " If it's not broken, don't fix it "

I would stick with XP for the mo

  7. Read this, then tell me if you want to install it

  8. If it didn't work out before, you may not want to risk it. Don't get me wrong. Vista is an awesome system - I really like it. But, it is a huge system {a bit hog as some refer to it}. If you don't have a relatively new computer with about 2 gigs of RAM and a somewhat large hard drive of about 150 gigs or better, a dual core processor, and a good video card - you see where I'm going with this? - you may as well stay with XP on your existing computer.  Windows will support it for another year or so.  I know that there are a lot of Vista haters out there, but after my experiences with both XP and Vista, I like Vista better.

  9. No. Leave it. XP is fine.

  10. Vista is a new operating system and it have a lot of incompatibility.

  11. With vista, you must have at least 1.5gb ram to run, if your ram is not enough then don't risk it. You better stick with XP, You will also need a fast processor to run the Vista window. If you are trying to run vista on your computer less than 1.5gb then you will feel that your computer is very slow at running it.

  12. If its not broke don't fit it.

Also a recent poll found that nvidia drivers caused a large percentage of blue screen errors in Vista.
