  1. Why are you asking in a public forum?  You have to be the one to choose and research their activities, before joining.  All clubs are different.  You can always try the club and if you do not like it, then quit.  

    A new experience will always be important, but you have to make the decision, solely based on your interests, values, motivations and desires.


  2. If you enjoy volunteer work or want to have it on your college apps, then yes.
