I was thinking about joining the Navy and becoming a Navy Seal. The program consists of more than 12 months of initial training — followed by an additional 18 months of pre-deployment training — and intensive specialized training . Its gonna be hard but i think i can handle it. should i do it?

  1. the fact that most committed SEAL recruits wash out after the first day of h**l week in BUDS probably means that someone who's not even sure about it is not going to make it very far. these things are even more mental than they are physical so and not being sure is not going to get you nowhere. Try something less demanding maybe.

  2. How big are your flippers.

  3. Becoming a SEAL is perhaps one of the most demanding, dangerous and responsible positions a person could do in the military.

It demands dedication and sacrifice above that required of all of our service members.

My thoughts are if you have to think about whether or not it is right for you, then it most likely is not right for you.

  4. Make sure its something you really want to do. Can you handle being away from your friends and family for that long? That's going to be my biggest problem when I deploy.
