  1. Totally not dorky, look at Michael Phelps......unless you think he is dorky.LOL!

  2. If you enjoy it - Go for it!!!! Great for your body. And tell your friends that when you watch them get fatter and fatter while you get muscley, toned and tanned!!

  3. If you enjoy swimming go ahead and join the swim team! The swim team is quite a bit of work, but it is a lot of fun. I've really enjoyed it, and I now swim for both my high school and my local club team. If you enjoy swimming then go ahead and join!

  4. swiming is totally NOT dorky!!  it's awesome! if your good at it.. do it! you shouldn't care what your friends say. swimming is a great way to exsercise.. you should totally

  5. Actually, swimming is FAR from dorky. From personal observation, swimmers, male and female, have the best bodies. I'm sure you've seen Michael Phelps' body. Swimming works your entire body and you get extremely toned. Strong arms, strong legs, flat abs...the list goes on.

I know every athlete says that their sport is the hardest, but swimming is an exceptionally tough sport. If you haven't trained for competitive swimming, you'll be extremely sore in the beginning.

  6. no just coz they dont have past tymes my mates thought my dancing was stupid but i gave tht up and became a swimmer.

  7. WOAH WOAH WOAH..let me get something straight..swimming is NOT dorky, we have better bodies than the cheerleaders (and thats saying something)... yes you should join its a lot of fun and you get close to your teamates quickly

  8. i say go for it, you never know, you could be really good at it. you don't want to always be wondering what if. just watch the olympics, maybe it'll inspire you hahah

  9. sure, give it a shot. and NO its not dorky.

a word of caution.....it is an incredibly, incredibly, incredibly competititve sport. you could work your butt off for years and go absolutely nowhere. on the other hand, you could do quite well. you never know until you try.

so go for it! good luck to you!
