  1. That's a pretty high cap figure for a receiver that is injured as often as he is, and who has a QB coming off Tommy John surgery.

Suspension or not, I'm not sure what options you have.

You can live without him for two games, but it does lower his "worth."

I think you'll have a hard time moving him and getting equitable value.

I would probably hang on to him, and hope that he returns to his former glory.

EDIT: He is not worth $9.50.  Let someone else waste that much cap space.  That's too high...

  2. Really, you don't provide NEARLY enough information here to really answer the question. Who's on your bench? Is there anyone better available? Remember, he's only out TWO games. The season is a lot longer than that. In three games, one of your opponents could be beating up on you with your own Steve Smith. Better make sure that you are picking up someone good before you let that happen.

p.s. And s***w "role model" c**p. This isn't a friendship you're starting. You're trying to win your league. Worry less about character and worry more about who is going to play well for you. Smith's a risk, but is he more of a risk than some waiver wire guy? Hmm...

  3. He hasn't been close to his production of two years ago but I do think he still has value and you aren't going to get much for him now.

  4. nope! he is a punk!

  5. absolutely. steve smith is one of the top 5 best receivers in the nfl without question. Steve Smith always does better coming off of an injury or suspension because he's wants even worse to play and win. He will be extremely productive for you when he comes back in week 3

  6. in a keeper league you must cut him immediately, before week 1

  7. Definitly

  8. no you should look up to a new person that deserves to be your role model and does not get into trouble
