my bf broke up with me.long and sad story,he was my first lover and of course i don't intend to go around and have s*x with the first guy i see.so i'm wondering now to stop taking the pill.i though of keep taking it because i like the fact that my periods are regular, less painful and last less.

i wanted to know if there is more advantages to be on the pill or if it's better to stop taking it since i'm not having nor planing to have s*x?

does this affect you weight as well?

thank you very much for any answers.

  1. I am 14, but i know what i am talking about when i say that the matter is totally up to you, considering that it reliefs you from the monthly pain it's very good, but you also have to consider that the pill was made for a reason and should only be used then, at least you have to expect some deformation in your babies if you are really planing on taking these stuff for the rest of your life or so,

please note that the pill is just like collagen after living with it for few months behind each other, you body will build something similar to a firewall because it will think that it's being attacked frequently by a virus/bacteria.

  2. you should keep taking it just to keep your system on a schedule, plus it's better to stay on it continually than off again on again

  3. I THINK YOU SHOULD, IT JUST GOOD TO BE ON IT. I STAY ON IT REGARDLESS IF IM HAVING s*x OR NOT.

  4. keep taking it if its eases your periods  but if you have s*x  with a new lover  use a condom as well  for  other things i think you know what i mean without going into detail lol and also you can stop in the middle of the pill when you want

  5. You know what? You should definitely keep taking the pill. Forever.

  6. Keep taking the pill. It makes you more regular that is better.  Good luck. Sorry about the boyfriend but he probably wasn't worth it anyway.

  7. I would keep taking the pill.

  8. It's entirely up to you, you can stop and start the pill at a different time, that's no problem. (But regular stop starting isn't always a good thing) Also if you did meet a new guy, wouldn't it be safer to use condoms at first anyways? Remember the pill offers no protection against STI's
