  1. I'd leave it on in case she is scared then you can see where she is.

  2. I would say no, start as you mean to go on....you have to look on the danger side of a fire starting and also your electric bill!!

    wish,,,,,,,

  3. No, unless you want to leave the light on every night! Don't start a routine like that. A dog isn't a baby, it's a dog! They DO have good night vision, as someone else said, and you need to give the dog some confidence of it's own! Leave the light off.

  4. no dogs can see in light they have night vision and she'll get used to the dark

  5. yes. she is still young and may not know your house very well yet. make sure not to leave the light to close to her, for if anything happens the lightbulb is hot. if possible if you can wake up at some times and check on her. but leave a light so she can see and nothing dangerous happens.

  6. No, dogs have great night vision.

  7. I suggest having some kind of light in the room. I have a bichon and a golden retriever, and both of them fall asleep faster when I leave the tv on, animal planet of course!! If you dont have a tv in the room were she will be sleeping, try a 50 watt lamp. Also I would try to put some sort of noise machine with her. If you cannot find a noise machine, put a warm water bottle and an old t-shirt of yours in her basket. Try doing this for a few nights then take away the light, but leave noise. Wait a few more days and see if she is comfortable without any noise or light. If so you will not need to use it again.

    Hope I could help!!!

  8. If she is seven months old has she been sleeping with the light on up to now.  If not change as little of her routine as possible.

  9. Yes.....as a pup she would not mind if the light is on. This would help you when u check n the pup in the night....for the pup it would not make any difference as right now all it needs is milk and rest....
