Should i let them live or kill them? Jalapeno and Tomato help!?

Ok i live in austin texas and im growing 2 tomato plants and 1 jalapeno plant, i want to know is that once summer is over and winter comes should i kill all 3 plants, then when summers almost over start them in side the move them outside once there big enough?

They have one season for their reason........then you need to get some seeds from the fruit and plant again in early spring. All the best.

You won't have to kill them. When winter comes they'll die all by themselves. In fact the tomatoes in my garden, in Austin, are just about burned up by the sun as it is. Peppers will take a lot more heat than tomatoes. If you want to start them from seed for next year, wait until Jan or Feb to start them indoors.
