  1. No. When you work out it breaks down your muscles and your body spends the rest of the day building them back up.  If you play a game later that day you will have considerably less energy.


  2. if you mean lifting weights i wouldnt because then you might wear out you muscles

    if you're a pitcher, Stay away from weights on gamedays

You can, but it wont do you any good.  Lifting before a game won't make you stronger for that game.  Muscle grow and make you stronger during the periods when your not pushing them to the limit.  Lifting on game day will just make you tired and may cause you to overwork a muscle which could result in a tear.
