Should i make my hamsters house bigger?

Question

so right now my hamster lives in the crittertrailx:

he really likes it alot, it just seems a bit small now. Soi i want to add his cage to the crittertrail2:

do you think these cages together are big enough? I DONT want a plastic bin or fish tank.

how many hammys if lower then 7 then that is fine

if higer then 7 get a bigger cage

If your crittertrail x is too small I think you should definatley get the crittertrail 2 because I have read that hamsters should have as much room as possible. Hope I helped!

Hooking the cages together would be more than enough. Also it would give your hamster more space to explore and play in. Just remember that you have to buy the piping in order to connect the cages. You'll be able to find that at almost any pet store.

There is an example of some of the piping that's compatible with the crittertrail habitats. You only need a small tube to connect the habitats. and you can connect them any way you want to accomidate for the space that you have.

Ur hamster is goign to be really happy, with the 2 cages. It is going to be really big.

Hello yes you can but hamsters don't like sudden changes and can cause stress if you just add it, because of the new environment im not saying don't do it, but when you get your new cage try putting the hamster in for a while, so he can kinda get use to the new environment, keep on doing this for at least 3 days and then you can attach them together, hamsters do love to explore and will love exploring 2 cages :) Good luck!
