Some people may say I dumb while other say “go girl!” lol. I’m 19 years old and brought up in a great family that has thought me to make something out of my self with out depending on NO ONE… especially men! Lol. I have a good job, car of my own, go to college, and pay all my bills. My parent’s haven bought me any thing since I was 15 years old. I just love the feeling of having some kind of independence. Well any way this came up to mind. My parents wanted to get a condo near the lake so we could go on the weekend. Of course I offer to put under my name and help the out paying for it (I would be part owner) but I got all into it that now I want to move out of my own. My question is… should I go it? My parents are supporting me (especially my mother)…of course she is sad but she know I can make it since I have always proven to her I’m a responsible individual…my question is should I go for it? …I have my own room at home but I would love the feeling of having my own PLACE…I’m just a lil confused and not know what to do…..

  1. Well look at yourself financially, can you fully support and pay for yourself. and if you do plan to move out, where are you going to? what about food? electric bills? and etc. You should plan out the cost of living if you were to move out.

You have to look at the pros and cons of moving, i mean you probably have it great living with your parents, having extra cash all the time that you can make sure you have in case of emergencies. But it would also be nice to live independently and have your own place and not have to worry about family situations.

Well anyways, whatever it is you decide, good luck! =D

  2. Sounds like you're ready to move.  The confusion is normal.  It's a new phase of your life and you're not sure what to expect.  Go for it.  If it doesn't work out then I'm sure your folks will let you stay with them to get back on your feet and start again.

    Good Luck.

  3. Yes...your 19 and you really need to get out on your own and experience life as an adult without and help and support from anyone else.  Doing so now will start preparing you for real life.
