Hey there

My boyfriend has recently asked me to move in with him. I am 19 and he is 25. I cant see us getting married or anything, but that might be because second year uni and work take up soooooo much of my time i dont have time to day dream ;). Currently i am living at a uni residential college and plan to move out after exams (4 months away) with four female friends. Overall, the idea of moving out with my boyfriend is appealing, but im unsure if im rushing things as we have only been together 8 months but our relationship has been relatively stable. I just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions or personal stories? I was once told by a very drunk tourist that you should always move out with your partner over your friends because you put more effort into trying to make a relationship with your partner work........

thanks anyway!

  1. Why would you if you will not marry him?  Don't play house - get your education and enjoy your life while it can still be carefree.  If you live with your boyfriend, your friends will fade out because you won't have time for them - school, work, boyfriend, housework that he probably won't do.  Nah, I say continue on your path and don't be led astray - especially by drunk tourists or needy  boyfriends.

  2. personally for me i could never live with my friends.  i think we would absolutely drive each other nuts.  i'm clean, they are messy.  i have lived with my bf for 2 yrs and its great...we both help out around the house.
