  1. You should move to London because you want to live there, but not for the accent.  It's an awesome city. You'd never run out of things to do.

Every time I visit the UK for a few weeks, I pick up a little bit of an accent.  I say a few words with an accent, but that's all.

I don't know how long it would take you to naturally pick up a new accent--probably years.

  2. why not just call Simon? he can teach you London and you can teach him Talent!

  3. i love the accent too. moving there is too crazy. you can fake the accent. just practice it. living it london is soooooo expensive. it costs a ton just to go as a tourist, think of it on a daily basis.

one US dollar is the equivalent to 47 pents there

  4. I for one love that accent!

But it will take you a few years for you to adapt to it.

You wouldn't just off the bat start speaking with that accent

you'd need to get used to it and start speaking that way.

Once you are talking that way, you won't think it's an accent, you'll think you're talking normally!

    The choice is yours!

  5. No. If you want a proper accent, you need to relocate to Glasgow.

  6. NO, thats ridiculous!  Take speaking classes to pick it up if your really wanting the accent

  7. Bloody h**l mate! you can't just get the accent you have to have it naturally like me! =)

  8. Most people in London these days don't even seem to have English accents! If you want a "London" accent just watch East Enders!!

  9. You can't really "Have" the accent. You would have to grow up there to really get it.

But if you want to LEARN it then that's a whole different story.

You can move if you want to, I think you would just be going through a lot of trouble though. :o

  10. I'm not sure where you are from, but London has more than one accent.  Perhaps you mean a posh accent?  I would move to London just because it's a great, exciting city.
