Should i paint ? or try that new wall paper that looks like paint ?

i just had a house redone from top to bottom and and wanting to paint. But i saw this new product out that lets you like wallpaper the walls to make it look like paint. Does anyone know how this works and is it better to just paint or is this new product better ? let me know the pro's and cons of this.. thanks

I would paint your room it is a ton more fun than pasting a  wall of wallpaper up.

you should get some of you friends together and pait your room!!

well, if you ever did want to get rid of the wallpaper it takes very long and is very hard. if I were you i would use paint.

I am not sure about this wallpaper, but my answer is paint.  It is easier to change if you don't like, or your tastes change down the road.  Newer wallpapers are easier to remove, but as someone who bought a fixer-upper, I can tell you from experience, all wallpaper is a pain to remove!

My uncle tried that. He said its a hassle and he'd MUCH rather have painted it. If you have to cut it to get angles of the ceiling and everything. But he did say it's not too hard, just like any other wallpaper, and it looks ok. Just kind of pointless i guess. I've never done it and I'd still rather get a paint roller because I don't want to deal with rolls of wallaper and all that c**p.

From my experience with any wall paper, it is a hassle. If you want to change the room you will have to strip the wall paper which is maddening. I have found it easier to paint and change the color later without the extra work.

Just paint. Because sure the wallpaper will look good now but later it will peel and such. I would paint and have a party with friends. You make some food and the painting will be done in no time and they will have a nice meal too!

Having put up a lot of wallpaper/vinyl in the past I found it to be a whole lot more expensive than paint.  When you want to change the look it is a LOT of work to remove it.  If you decide to paint just remember to use a good primer first for a first class paint job.
